Portraits
Portraiture is a lost art. To me, portraiture is an attempt to capture an entire person's being in one shot. I know, however, that this is an impossible goal, and that all we can do is approach the ideal.
Most people pose for a portrait, but a truly great portrait captures the individual beyond the pose. Of course, this is easiest when one takes a candid shot.
I am looking for people willing to sit for portraits. Anyone within driving distance of the Twin Cities, MN who would like his/her portrait taken, just send me an email. I do not charge and you will get all the shots taken on a CD for printing, but I keep copyright of the photos and will post them on my site or enter them into contests. I do not accept, personally, any money for my art, though I will pass on money received to a non profit.
As you can see from the examples below, I like to experiment. I'd like to fill this site with some very unique and creative portraits.

I have two slide shows of portraits. One requires Windows and a High Speed Internet Connection. The other can be worked by any computer anywhere with any connection:
