This mountain was covered with colored moss.

When I looked closer, the crows and some kind of tool for climbing showed up.

Near the border of Arizona and Nevada I found Joshua trees.

The prickly pear in the northern Arizona desert were very bright.

Bordering the Mojave desert, the flowers were all in bloom.

These are the first flowers I found . . .

when I came into Northern California.

The name of the town was Asti.

California Poppies.

I had to take a look at Asti grapes.

A variety of Vetch.

The highways were alit with blooms.

On my way to the redwoods

Had to stop for a beer.

My first picture of the redwoods.

I discovered this little patch of irises.

I prayed for fog. It's the only way to capture the majesty of the redwoods.

This iris was precious.

These were growing along my path

I'd never seen a flower like this.

With the mist, the trees seemed to reach up into the clouds.

Along the Avenue of the Giants.

The only way to see how large they are, is to put a human next to them.

In the Rockefeller Forest.

I jumped from the car

when I spotted this eagle.

A rabbit had been hit on the road.

Seven vultures and one crow showed up for dinner.

The crow is not impressed.

The crow is still not impressed.

Actually, the crow could be a raven.
